Today is my first official day as lead developer at Fruitbowl Media in Canterbury. Leaving the security of the University of Kent to pursue what is effectively a start up.
Microwd
I’ve been working freelance for Fruitbowl for a little while now and we are actually launching our a new product on my first day which is pretty cool. It is a very early beta release (so be gentle with it) and we’ll be pushing lots of updates of the coming months. Microwd is a hosted platform for sharing knowledge and insight within organisations, it’s in open beta so please do check it out.

We’ve had a few other ideas while we’ve been working on Microwd and now I’m finally in a full time post at Fruitbowl we’ll be exploring them in more detail in the not too distant future.
Don’t Stop Me Now
I really enjoyed my time at Kent, I’ve worked with some really bright people and learnt more than I ever thought possible. But I’ve been ready for a change for a while now and am incredibly excited to be joining Fruitbowl.
